This section contains information about how to troubleshoot DIMM problems.
In this section, the term “CPU module” or CMOD refers to a full CPU blade, including all CPUs and DIMMs on the blade. The term “CPU” refers to a single CPU.

How to Isolate and Replace Faulty DIMM Pairs provides a first-level method of troubleshooting and correcting failed DIMMs.
How to Isolate and Correct Persistent DIMM Errors provides instructions for isolating and correcting DIMM-related problems that are not fixed by replacing the DIMM pair.
Additional Tests provides alternative procedures for identifying faulty DIMMs.
