The Oracle Hardware Management Pack provides management agents and command line tools to manage and configure Oracle servers from the host OS. Oracle Solaris has included Oracle Hardware Management Pack since Oracle Solaris 11.2. For example, you can use several CLI tools to configure RAID volumes, view hardware configuration and status information, and upgrade your server components' firmware. The tools include a utility for managing NVMe devices (nvmeadm) and for updating firmware in various hardware devices in the server (fwupdate).
