New features in this release include:
Production Planning
Production Planning enables forecasting, master scheduling, resource and materials planning, and ATP checking at the level of the product family. See: Overview of Production Planning.
Kanban Planning
Kanban Planning enables you to plan and control optimal kanban quantities and to manage kanban plans for continuous flow manufacturing. See: Overview of Kanban Planning.
Online Capacity
Online Capacity makes it possible to plan and manage resources along with materials. See: Overview of Online Capacity Planning.
Capable to Promise
Capable to Promise enables you to check both resources and materials (or, if you wish, just one or the other) in an Available to Promise query. See: Capable to Promise.
Supply Chain Available to Promise
Supply Chain Available to Promise (ATP) enables you to view the ATP date for each possible supply source for an order line, ship set, or configuration. See: Supply Chain ATP.
Line Scheduling Workbench (Beta)
Line Scheduling Workbench is a new form for viewing scheduled orders and creating, sequencing, scheduling, and maintaining assignments to production lines.
