Besides building forms for inventory management, Sheila also uses Oracle9i Reports Developer to create and disseminate inventory reports, sales reports, and management reports. Using Reports Developer lets Sheila take information from any data source to produce reports in any format that can be distributed anywhere—e-mail, printer, file, or portlet. From a single run of a report, she can generate several report sections and send the sections to different managers, for example upper management with an overview, account managers with their account statistics, and store managers with inventory details. |
