Process of Installing SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2003 Environment

This topic describes the process of installing SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 environment.

To install SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 environment, perform the following tasks:

1. Installing Exchange 2003 System Management Tools
2. Installing Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server Service Pack 1 or 2
3. Installing MSXML 4.0 SP2 (for Microsoft Exchange 2003)
4. Checking Domain Controller Properties (for Microsoft Exchange 2003)
5. Configuring Firewalls for Use with SSSE
6. Installing Siebel Server for PIMSI Dispatcher
7. Installing Siebel Server for PIMSI Engine
8. Installing Siebel Exchange Connector

To prepare the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 environment, perform Step 1 through Step 4. Except where otherwise indicated, perform these tasks on each PIMSI Engine computer and each Exchange Connector computer. Then perform Step 5 through Step 8.
