Workflow to Automatically Create Entitlements from an Entitlement Template

Entitlements can be automatically created from entitlement templates. The FS - Create Entitlement workflow automates the process of associating an entitlement template with a service product. The workflow is called when the user clicks the Auto-Entitlement button. See Configuring Auto-Entitlement for Quotes and Orders for more information on configuring this button.

The three workflow processes call the following methods in the FS Create Entitlement business service:

• GetEntitlementTemplates
• ValidateEntitlementTemplates
• CreateEntitlements

The workflow calls the FS Agreement Renewal business service, passing in the date and the ID for the agreement. Figure 4 illustrates this workflow.
