Process of Setting Up the Dispatch Board

The following list shows the procedures that administrators typically perform to set up the Dispatch Board within Siebel Field Service. Your company may follow a different process according to its business requirements.

To set up the Dispatch Board for use by dispatchers and customer service representatives, perform the following tasks:

• Set up rules for Assignment Manager. See the chapter on assignment rules in Siebel Assignment Manager Administration Guide.
• Associate service regions and schedules with employees. See Defining Employee Availability and Schedules for more information.
