Entering or Updating Account Call Details


To enter or update the details of the call on the Account Call Detail page, complete the following procedure.

To enter or update account call details

  1. From the Account Call page, click the Call Details tab.
  2. Update any of the editable fields for the key call information by clicking that field and entering your information, as listed in the following table.

    NOTE:  When you click an editable field, picklists, text boxes, and date selectors appear automatically depending on the field type.

    Field
    Description

    Account

    The account that is associated with this call. This field is read-only.

    Address

    The account's street address.

    For Siebel CRM, you can only read existing associations between address and account by default.

    City

    The account's city. This field is read-only.

    State

    The account's state or province. This field is read-only.

    Postal Code

    The account's postal code. This field is read-only.

    Work

    The account's work phone number. This field is read-only.

    Cell

    The account's mobile phone number. This field is read-only.

    Description

    Additional information about the call.

    Start Date

    The start date and time for the call.

    End Date

    The end date and time for the call.

    Duration

    The duration of the call, which is equal to the difference between the call's end time and the start time. This field is read-only.

    Objective

    The objective of the call.

    Status

    The status of the call, which can be Planned, Signed, or Submitted. This read-only status field is changed when users click Get Signature or Submit.

    Type

    The call type, such as Call, Approval, To Do, Presentation, Approval.

    Cost

    The costs associated with the call.

    Next Call

    The objective for the next call.

  3. Click Submit.
