Entering or Updating Professional Call Details


To enter or update the details of the call on the Call Details page, complete the following procedure.

To enter or update call details

  1. From the Professional Call page, click the Call Details tab.
  2. Update any of the editable fields for the key call information by clicking the field and entering information as required. The following table describes the fields.

    NOTE:  When you click an editable field, picklists, text boxes, and date selectors appear automatically depending on the field type.

    Field
    Description

    Account

    The account that is associated with this contact. This field is read-only.

    Address

    The contact's street address.

    For Siebel CRM, you can only read existing associations between address and contact by default.

    City

    The contact's city. This field is read-only

    State

    The contact's state or province. This field is read-only.

    Postal Code

    The contact's postal code. This field is read-only.

    Work

    The contact's work phone number. This field is read-only.

    Cell

    The contact's mobile phone number. This field is read-only.

    Description

    Additional information about the call.

    Start Date

    The start date and time for the call.

    End Date

    The end date and time for the call.

    Duration

    The duration of the call, which is equal to the difference between the call's end time and the start time. This field is read-only.

    Objective

    Describes the reason for the call.

    For Siebel CRM, this is a menu list.

    Status

    The status of the call, which can be Planned, Signed, or Submitted. This read-only status field is changed when users click Get Signature or Submit.

    Type

    The call type, such as Call, Approval, To Do, Presentation, Approval.

    Cost

    The costs associated with the call.

    Next Call

    The objective for the next call.
