Working with Samples Dropped to a Contact


You can review, update, or remove the samples dropped to a contact in the Samples Detail page.

To work with the samples dropped to a contact

  1. From the Professional Call page, click the Samples tab.

    The Samples table that records the dropped samples appears on the left side of the Samples page, and the list of available samples appears on the right side.

  2. In the Available Samples section, select the check box for the product sample that you want to drop to this contact from the list of available drugs.

    You can click the left and right arrows to scroll through the available sample inventory records. You can select the filter check boxes to show all products or a combination of individual products. By default, all products are selected. You can deselect product check boxes to hide the product from the Available Samples list. You can select the All check box to list all available sample inventory records.

  3. Drag the required sample inventory records from the Available Samples section to the Samples table.

    For Siebel CRM, the Sample table displays the following information, which is added from the sample inventory record:

    • Lot number
    • Product Name
  4. Sort the information in the Samples table by clicking the column headings in the table.
  5. Change the quantity in the Sample table by clicking the quantity value in the table and entering the new value.

    You can also use the left and right arrows to increase or decrease the quantity. The quantity cannot exceed the maximum quantity specified by the sample inventory record.

  6. To remove an existing sample from the table, click Delete (X) beside the record in the table.
