Defining Function Space Inventory Controls


An administrator can create inventory controls for function space categories. This procedure assumes that the administrator has already created the appropriate function space categories for the property. For more information, see Creating Function Space Categories for Property.

This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Inventory Controls.

To define function space inventory controls

  1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Property Pricing Admin.
  2. In the Properties list, query for the property record, and then click the link in the Property Name field.
  3. Click the Inventory Control view tab.
  4. In the Category list, choose a category.
  5. In the Rules list, create a new record and enter the Start Date and End Date for the inventory control.

    NOTE:  The start and end date values are validated. Start Date must be less than or equal to the End Date plus 365.

  6. In each authorization field, set the authorization levels for each day of the week, and then click Apply.

NOTE:  The results of the inventory controls applied are shown in the Valid Authorizations Levels view.
