Defining Sleeping Room Inventory Controls


An administrator can create inventory controls for sleeping rooms. This process assumes that the administrator has already created the appropriate sleeping rooms for the property. For more information, see Creating Sleeping Rooms.

This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Inventory Controls.

To define sleeping room inventory controls

  1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Property Pricing Admin.
  2. In the Properties list, query for the property record, and then click the link in the Property Name field.
  3. Click the Inventory Control view tab.
  4. Click the Sleeping Room link to navigate to that view.
  5. In the Sleeping Room list, choose a sleeping room.
  6. Scroll down to the Rules list and create a new record.
  7. In the Rule record, specify the Start Date and End Date for the inventory control, and set the authorization levels and optimal levels for each day of the week.

    The Start and End Date values are validated. The Start Date value must be less than or equal to the End Date plus 365.

  8. Click Apply.

NOTE:  The results of the applied inventory controls appear in the SR Inventory Display view.
