Defining Property Day Parts

After the property record is defined, an administrator sets up the property's day parts, segmenting the operational day into periods of time.

This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Properties.

To set up day parts

1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Property Administration.
2. In the Properties list, query for the property, and then click the Day Parts view tab.
3. In the Day Parts list, create new records, complete the fields for each record, and save the records.

   The table that follows describes some of the fields.

   Field	Comments
   Day Part Name	The name of the day part. For example, Morning.
   Start Time	The start time of the day part. For example, 6 A.M.
   End Time	The time that the day part ends. For example, 12 P.M.
   Effective Start Date	The date on which the day part becomes effective. For example, 1/1/2004.
   Effective End Date	The date on which the day part becomes inactive. For example, 12/31/2004.
