Creating Sell Notes for a Property


Sales managers can flag days as high-priority for event sales, and add sell notes to describe the sales strategy the property is implementing. More than one sell note can be entered against a date. The Sell Notes automatically appear in the Special Dates calendar. For more information, see Viewing the Special Dates Calendar.

NOTE:  Sell Notes should only be defined using the Property screen's Sell Notes view.

This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Properties.

To create sell notes

  1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Property.
  2. In the Properties list, query for the property.
  3. In the property record, click the link in the Property Name field.
  4. From the property form, click the Sell Notes view tab.
  5. In the Sell Notes list, create a record and complete the fields.

Start Date

Start date of the sell note. Default value is the current date.

End Date

End date of the sell note. Default value is the current date.

Type

Designates the record type.

Description

Description of the sell note.

Created By, Created Date

The login of the person creating the sell note and the date the record was created.

Last Updated By, Updated Date

The login of the person who last updated the sell note and the date the record was updated.
