Administering Partner Training


You use Siebel Partner Manager to administer partner training. You:

  • Enter information about courses, classes, and curricula, including course type (web-based video, instructor led, CD, or Distance Learning); job roles that would benefit from taking the course; times and locations of on-site classes; directions and hotels close to on-site classes.
  • Associate courses with price lists, so users can be charged appropriately.
  • Enroll partners in specific training courses.
  • Track partner enrollments in web-based courses and in classroom-based classes. (You enter this information in the Training Course Enrollments or Training Class Enrollments view.)
  • Track the test scores of enrollees. (You view this information in the Test Results view.)
  • Maintain an electronic library of training materials. (You enter this information in the Training Library view.)
  • Create online tests that are scored automatically when the test taker submits the tests. (You create the pool of questions in the Test Questions view. You create the tests in the Tests view.)
  • Administer distance learning for live Web-based courses. (You enter this information in the Distance Learning screen, by clicking the hyperlink View Available Sessions.)
