Creating a Network Image

As an alternative to installing directly from the DVDs, you can create a network image for Siebel applications, by using one of the following methods:

• Copying DVDs directly to a central network location. See Copying DVDs Directly to a Central Network Location.
• Expanding the FTP files downloaded from Siebel SupportWeb. See Expanding Compressed Media into a Network Location.
• Using the Network Image Creator utility to copy Siebel installation files to a central network location. See Using the Image Creator Utility.
