Checking System Preferences for Notifications


By default, all system preferences to run the workflows for sending notifications have been set up properly. To verify this, check the Notification System Preferences matching the exact name of the workflow name you have activated.

To check system preferences

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Application Administration > System Preferences.
  2. The System Preferences screen appears.

  3. Click Query.
  4. A blank query appears on the System Preferences list.

  5. In the System Preference Name field, type eAuc*.
  6. Click Go.
  7. The Siebel eAuction system preferences appear in the System Preferences list.

  8. Select the system preference that you want to update and click the System Preference Value field.
  9. In the System Preference Value field, verify the name of the workflow that you activated in Activating Workflows.
  10. If the workflow name does not match, modify it with the proper spelling.
  11. NOTE:  The workflow names are case-sensitive. For the proper spelling, see Table 2.

  12. Repeat Step 4 and Step 5 for the remaining Workflow system preferences.
