Before You Begin Indexing

Before you start indexing, you should:

1. Have at least one batch scanned and ready to index.

2. Know which index profile you will use. If needed, ask your Capture administrator.

3. Have a general idea of which fields you will be entering index values into, and how you will enter them.

4. Understand how documents are created from batches of images (see "How Indexing Changes Images Into Documents").
