Siebel Analytics Server Administration Guide > Setting Up Disconnected Analytics >
Process of Creating and Deploying Disconnected Analytics Applications
Each Disconnected Analytics application contains several components such as a repository and Web Catalog that are slightly different from their counterparts on the network-based Analytics Server. Because Siebel Disconnected Analytics provides only local platform functionality and a few utilities, the administrator needs to create each disconnected application by building a local database, a customized local repository, a local Web Catalog, sourcing reports to download data, and DDLs (data definition language). After you create an application, you can test, and then deploy it.
Perform the following tasks to create and deploy a disconnected application:
- Creating and Testing the SQL Anywhere Database Tables
- Creating the Disconnected Analytics Repository
- Creating the Disconnected Web Catalog
- Defining Sourcing Reports for Disconnected Analytics
- Defining Data Sets for Disconnected Analytics
- Creating the Disconnected Application Configuration File
- Preparing Disconnected Analytics Applications for Deployment
- Testing and Deploying Siebel Disconnected Analytics
