BEA eLink Business Process Option (BPO)
The Business Process Option provides a GUI-based mechanism for defining a sequence of tasks that
comprise a logical, enterprise-wide business process. This sequence of tasks is similar to what is
called "workflow" within many third party enterprise applications, but it differs in that these tasks can
orchestrate multiple, different, enterprise applications integrated via the eLink Platform. The BPO is
deployed on the eLink Platform, and it is scalable, highly available, and manageable from a single
console.
Note:
This documentation set was revised (from the February, 2000 Version 1.2 Release) in November, 2000 to include an updated Server Installation Guide.
