Introducing the BEA Tuxedo System
Workstation Components
The BEA Tuxedo Workstation components are:
Workstation Clients-Clients use BEA Tuxedo Workstation to connect to the BEA Tuxedo system. The BEA Tuxedo system supports multiple Workstation clients running simultaneously on Windows, Windows NT, UNIX, and VMS platforms. The ATMI is available to clients supported by Workstations. Workstation Handler (WSH)-A WSH manages one or more connections between Workstation clients and native BEA Tuxedo servers, makes surrogate service requests, manages transactions, and returns replies. WSH processes are started and stopped by the WSL. Workstation Listener (WSL)-A WSL accepts connection requests from Workstation clients and assigns connections to a Workstation Handler. It also manages the pool of Workstation Handler processes, starting and stopping them in response to load demands. Workstation Components
