How to Remove the Power Distribution Board

  1. Prepare the server for service. See How to Prepare the Server for Service.
  2. Remove all power supplies. See How to Remove a Power Supply).
  3. Disconnect the main flex cable connector from the connector on the power distribution board.

  4. Loosen the captive screws that secure the power distribution board to the chassis.

  5. Remove the two bus-bar nuts that secure the power distribution board to the bus bars.
  6. Slide the power distribution board upward slightly to free its keyed openings from the chassis standoffs, and then remove it from the chassis.
