Before You Begin

You need to have either local or remote (RKVM) access to the server console. See Connecting to the System Console.

  1. Power on or reboot the server.
  2. Press the F2 key when prompted for the BIOS Setup Utility.
  3. In the BIOS Setup Utility, choose Advanced→IPMI 2.0 Configuration→Set LAN Configuration.
  4. Select the IP Address menu item.

    The service processor IP address appears as: Current IP address in BMC:

  5. To exit the BIOS Setup Utility, press Esc.
