Your Search Administration installation and all routing installations must have access to the Search databases.
Search components rely on two database schemas, one internal, which is used by management applications such as Search Administration and Merchandising (referred to in the sections that follow as the management schema), and one external, which is used by Search client applications such as the routing module, Commerce and Knowledge (referred to as the production schema). Most of the Search tables are installed in the production schema so they are available at runtime to Commerce or Service applications.
