The items may have been found, but are ranked low in the results.
Use Content Inspection to make sure the item is included in the index.
Examine the response XML file for relevancy (

).Check your search (rank) configurations.
Items may be filtered out by
mergeSettings
. ThemergeSettings
attribute on the query can be used with multi-partition indexes to retrieve a different number of results than the per-partition requests. For example, if you have three partitions and are fetching 100 from each but want 200 total results, you need to set theresponseNumberSettings
for 100 and themergeSettings
for 200. Otherwise themergeSettings
will default to be the same as theresponseNumberSettings
, giving only 100.
