Several of the baseline gears store content in a SQL Repository. These gears are the Document Exchange Gear, the Discussion Gear, and the Calendar Gear. The Repository Search Gear lets users search by keywords for content in all instances of these repository-based gears in the portal at once. The user can also restrict a search to the current community or page.
