Acquire the Firmware Package

The leaf switch's firmware packages are distributed through My Oracle Support (MOS). To retrieve firmware, you need to login with a valid MOS account.

1. Locate and download for installation the latest firmware and firmware upgrade tool from My Oracle Support at:

   https://support.oracle.com

2. If present, review the readme file while the firmware is downloading.
3. When the firmware is downloaded, decompress the archive or zip file if needed.
4. Choose the update path based on the starting version of firmware:
   • If you are upgrading from firmware version 1.0.0.0, use the nm3tool utility.

   • If you are upgrading from firmware version 1.0.1.0, use the system upgrade command in Oracle Fabric OS.
