If the variant, audience, and goals for an experiment are defined you can start an experiment ahead of its scheduled start date and time by Start Experiment button in the header panel on the experiment configuration screen. This starts the experiment immediately and sets the end date 28 days from the time that the experiment started.

To stop an experiment that is currently in progress, click on the Stop button for the experiment on the In Progress Experiments page. This stops the experiment with immediate effect, updates the end date and time for the experiment and moves the experiment to the Completed panel on the Home page.

You can also stop an experiment that is currently in progress by clicking on the Stop button in the Results panel on the Experiment Configuration screen.
