The program description deals with the following:
The current recording date for the selected branch is ascertained with this program. The date and time the shift and recording period began are displayed. The start date of stock, the shift no. and the recording period are shown. The program is only intended for information.
Note:
The branch status is important for the function Get statistics. Each branch keeps the branch status in its own database and head office keeps the branch status in the server database. When function Pickup statistics is called up in update program Installation, all statistics data is obtained from the branches and is stored in the head office server database. All data which is younger than the date set in the branch status is picked up.
Example:
When Get statistics is called up, all statistics data excluding that for 02.05.2000 will be sent from branch 30 to head office. After successful transfer the branch status in head office for branch 30 is set to date 02.05.2000. When Get statistics is called up again, no further statistics data will be sent from the branch to head office. Further statistics data will only be sent to head office after the branch status of branch 30 has been changed.
