Return booking (Centbox)

Remarks on program function

The data for Return booking can be updated here, i.e. new data can be programmed, old data can be changed or cleared. The data stored to date can also be displayed for information.

Notes:
The environment variable "ReturnBooker" and "CentBox" must be set in the file oscar.ini, to make this feature available in the system.
Additionally the number of  the "Return booking ID and the number of "Paym. for CentBox" must be entered in program Application -> Organisation -> Terminals -> Add.Data, if this terminal will be used for this function.
A corresponding payment type with the option "CentBox possible " must be saved in the system.

Remarks on data fields

The descriptions below apply to all options available for update of this Basic data.

The following applies to nearly all other programs:

• The entry mask for this program in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS version may differ depending on the definitions in the user program. Some data fields may be missing.
• Some data fields may also have value or selection option defaults programmed and these cannot be altered in the current program.
• The entry mask shows fields where entries have to be made, but in other fields entries are optional.
• If the data record is updated through several pages of entry masks, the dialog window is reached by clicking onto the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
• The same procedure applies if you want to call up this program from another update program.
• In some cases you will find so-called "Switches" with defaults which can either be activated or de-activated by clicking onto them with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are dark, de-activated switches are lighter.

Debug

Select one of the debug levels offered by clicking onto the field and then a second click onto the option required.

The system offers the following debug level:

• 0 = no protocol of the data communication in file "errlog"
• 1 = display of all communication data in file "errlog"

Note:
Only select a value higher than "0" for the debug level if a protocol of the communication with the payment terminal is required for error analysis. The data appears in file "errlog" in directory work of the appropriate system unit.

Service type

Service URL

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 20 pos.

Enter the URL which should be used as default http://localhost:8080/CentboxClient for type HTTP bzw. net.tcp://localhost:8082/CentboxClient for type TCP).

Decimal digits

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9

Number of decimal digits.

Independent scanner

The system offers the following options:

• No
  The CentBox-Card will be read by the scanner of the POS (currently not implemented)

• Yes
  The CentBox-Car will be read by an independent scanner.
