Remarks on the Program Function

With this program you can start the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS programs which have been arranged for the daily call-up with the program Parameters -> Misc.Params. -> Daily Action.

The programs arranged in this list only serve the simplification of the daily necessary program call-ups for the operator. The selected program can be called up via the button „Run Application“; via the button „Application Finished“, you can mark the selected program as already run.

The field „State“ displays the program state as follows:

N (green) = never called (the program has not been run, yet)
C (yellow)= called (the program has already been run)
F (red) = finished (the program has been marked as finished)

In addition, you can view detailed information on the date, time and operator no. of the individual daily actions via the update program Parameters -> Misc.Params. -> Daily Action -> State.

Note:
If the status data of the programs in this list is to be refreshed, e.g. at the end of the day, report "Reset daily action" must be called up in program Program -> Parameter -> Misc. Param. -> Daily action -> Status.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these basic data

Just like in almost any other program:

The input mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some data fields may be missing.
Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the dialog window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark colour, deactivated switches are lighter-coloured.

Program Name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.

This field displays the program name as it has been entered in the update program Parameters -> Misc.Params. -> Daily Action ->Positions.

Remark

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 20 chars.

This field displays the remark on the program as it has been entered in the update program Parameters -> Misc.Params. -> Daily Action ->Positions.

State

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 1 char.

This field displays the state of this program.
