Remarks on the Program Function

With this program you can update the data for the daily action, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view data which has already been stored in the system.

· Internal MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application programs can be inserted into a daily action list, e.g. to compile jobs which have to be done daily. The individual programs can be started by the user via Application -> Organisation ->Daily action list .

· Every program call-up is stored in program Parameter -> Misc. Param. -> Daily action -> Status together with the date, the time, the operator no..

· Daily action lists must be linked in program Application -> Organisation -> Branch -> Details 2 to ensure that a signed on operator can use it.

Note
The report "Reset Daily action" should be called up if the status data of the programs in this list is to be refreshed, e.g. at the end of the day.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these basic data

Just like in almost any other program:

The input mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some data fields may be missing.
Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the dialog window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark colour, deactivated switches are lighter-coloured.

Company

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the company for which you would like to work on the daily action. If you do not know the number you can also select the data record via the Search Function.

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999

When creating a new data record, enter a free number in the Key Fields.

In order to modify or delete data, call up the data record by entering the numbers in the key fields. If you do not know the numbers you can also select the data record via the Search Function.

Name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 20 chars.

Enter a name for the daily action. You can choose a name at will.
