The program description deals with the following:
The data for connection of a payment terminal type CARUS can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which already exists can be displayed for information.
The interface and link to a processing unit should be defined together with the device-specific operation mode of the EFT terminal.
Payment terminal devices are required for payment with magnetic cards. Further parametering is necessary, e.g. the appropriate Payment type with link of the permitted Credit card etc. is necessary to operate this terminal.

Only select a value higher than "0" for the debug level if
a protocol of communication of the payment terminal is required for error
analysis. Data appears in file "errlog" in directory work of the appropriate system unit.
