The program description deals with the following:
The data for a Citizen printer can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can be displayed for information.
The interface and link to a processing unit are defined here and the device-specific operation mode of the printer is set.
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.

Select one of the offered options by clicking onto the field and with a second click choosing the required number of drawers.
The system offers the following options:
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 9
Enter a value (drawer no.) in this field if one drawer is connected to this printer and if this is to open as defined for the operator and from a payment type. If two drawers are to be connected to this printer, the second drawer is given value +1. The entered value must match up with the value entered in Operator and in the appropriate Parameters of the payment type.

A value for the number of characters per line to be printed on the print is entered in this field.
Default = 4
The number of lines the receipt is to advance after the last line has been printed and before it is cut off.

the debug level if a protocol for the communication of the printer is required

Select one of the parity settings offered by clicking onto this field and with a second click choosing the parity required.
The system offers the following parity settings:
Default 100
A value (in milliseconds) can be entered in this field to define how long the release magnet of the connected drawer is to remain active.
Default 2000
Enter a value in milliseconds to define the intervals at which the status of the printer is to be checked. If a negative response is received, the appropriate error message will be sent.
Default 2000
Enter a value in milliseconds to define the intervals at which the printer has to answer after a status query. If a negative response is received, the error message Printer Offline will be sent.
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 1
Enter 0 in this field if the logo is to be printed normally. Enter 1 if inverted print is required.

Please note that the print density
affects the size of the logo. The higher the solution, the smaller the
logo.
Path and name of BMP file for logo print
A logo can be printed in place of the normal heading print on the receipt. If this feature is needed. the name of the BMP file and the path in relationship to the current working directory (e.g. work directory = work.10, BMP file in directory xpm; entry = ../xpm/BMP file name) should be entered.
Please bear the following information in mind:
A BMP file is created with the appropriate program (e.g. "PAINT" for Windows). A colour depth of 1 bit (=2 colours) should be chosen.
The size and the ratio of the X/Y solution in Pixel is dependent on the printer on which the logo is to be printed.
