The program description deals with the following:
The data for an EFT-Link payment terminal can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.
The interface and link to a processing unit are defined here and the number of the device-specific operation mode of the EFT terminal is set.
Note:
Payment terminal devices are required for
payment with magnetic cards. Further parametering is necessary, e.g. the
appropriate Payment type with link of the permitted Credit card, etc., to operate this
terminal.
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.

Only select a value higher than "0" for
the debug level if a protocol for communication of the payment terminal is
required for error analysis. Details are provided in file "errlog" in

With this selection, the XML-Element of the CardServiceResponse (this is the
final answer telegram from the EFT) can be defined to assign the payment of the
card issuer.

Choose one of the offered graphics replacement for the printout on the EFT unit.
Depending on of the core class names one of the following options for printing on the EFT device can be selected:
Switch activated: Data will
be printed direct.
Switch deactivated: Data will be buffered.
Switch activated: "posTransactionInProgress"
method will be supported.
Switch deactivated: "posTransactionInProgress "method" will not
be supported.
The "posTransactionInProgress" will be supported by the used Core, to activate the EFT of card reading (usual at receipt start), without an amount is transfered before. Is the payment amount known later, the authorization will be faster if the card data already exists. This function is also known as "Prefetch".
Switch activated: "tenderEligibility"
will be supported.
Switch deactivated: "tenderEligibility" will not be supported
The used core provides the statement of "tenderEligibility" to transfer the total amount of an alternative currency and its ISO currency code.
Switch activated: Feedback
of the card type after authorization.
Switch deactivated: No feedback of the card type after authorization.
The core delivers the card type after authorization, in order to reassign automatically the payment type.
Switch activated: "LOYALTY_SWIPE" will
be supported.
Switch deactivated: "LOYALTY_SWIPE" will not be supported
The used core provides the authorization type "LOYALTY_SWIPE", to determine the data of loyalty cards.
Switch activated: "LOYALTY_AWARD" will
be supported.
Switch deactivated: "LOYALTY_AWARD" will not be supported
The used core provides the authorization type "LOYALTY_AWARD", to book a special receipt turnover.
Switch activated: The date
data are required with cancellations.
Switch deactivated: No date data are required with
cancellations.
The used core required the date data of he original transaction during a cancellation. Without the date, only authorized transaction of the current day will be accepted.
Switch activated: Card data
are required.
Switch deactivated: No card data are required..
The used core must receive the read data or the entered data of each authorization. This will typical be used if the EFT has no card reader.
Switch activated: In case of cancellation a vouchert number is printed.
Switch deactivated: In
case of cancellation no vouchert number is printed.
Schalter aktiviert: The driver uses a non-numeric authorization code instead of the
document number for cancellations.
Schalter deaktiviert: The driver do not uses a
non-numeric authorization code.
Note:
The authorization code is passed instead of the (EFT-) transaction number at the successful completion in attribute AuthNo of EFTPRINTDATA events
Switch activated: Refund

Switch deactivated: Refund will not be supported.
