Only enter a value higher than "0" for the debug level if a protocol for the communication of the printer is required for error analysis.


Cut off

Default = 8

Enter the number of lines the receipt is to advance after the last line has been printed and before the receipt is cut off.


Columns

Entry range permitted: numeric 24 -64 (default 42)

This field contains a value for the number of characters per line to be printed out.

Ontime

A value is entered in milliseconds in this field to define the time.


Poll timeout

Default 2000

Enter a value in milliseconds in this field to define the intervals at which the status of the printer is called up. The appropriate error message will be sent if the response is negative.


Request timeout

Default 2000

Enter a value in milliseconds in this field to define the intervals at which the printer must answer after a status call up. The appropriate message (printer offline) will be sent if the response is negative.

Select one of the options offered by clicking onto this field and with a second click choosing the operation mode required.

The system offers the following operation modes:


Usage drawer

Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 9

Enter a drawer no. in this field if one drawer is connected to this printer and if the programming defines that the drawer is to open from the operator and from the payment type. If two drawers are connected to the printer, the second drawer is given the value +1. This value must match up to the value entered in Operator and in the appropriate Parameters of the payment type.


BMP file

Path and name of the BMP file for logo print

A logo can be printed on the receipt instead of the normal receipt header. If a logo is required, the name of the BMP file should be entered in this field together with the path in relation to the current work directory (e.g. work directory = work.10, BMP file in directory xpm; entry = ../xpm/BMP file name)

Please note the following in conjunction with BMP files:

A BMP file is created with the appropriate program (e.g. "PAINT" for Windows). A colour depth of 1 bit (=2 colours) should be selected.

The size and the ratio of X/Y solution in Pixel depends on the printer used to print the logo.

The following values apply to the printers:


Inverted logo

Switch active: Inverted print of the logo.
Switch deactivated: No inverted print of the logo


Fast logo

Switch active: The logo is printed from the flash RAM of the printer
Switch deactivated: The logo is not printed from the flash RAM of the printer

Note:
The printer manufacturers can provide software to allow various logo data to be loaded into the flash RAM of the printer.

Switch active: The Euro character set code page is activated
Switch deactivated: The Euro character set code page is deactivated
