The program description deals with the following:
The data for connection of a CASHCARD payment terminal type EVIS-Terminal can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.
The interface and linkage to a process unit should be defined and the device-specific operating mode of the EFT terminal should be set.
Further parametering is required to operate this device, e.g. the appropriate Payment type and the appropriate card reading parameters in program Branch.
The EVIS payment terminal is needed for payments with so-called Cashcard magnetic cards. In addition, cash cards can also be loaded with a specified amount. This can be done during a receipt with key event <fPAYINCARDn> (n= finance type Paid in).
