The program description deals with the following:
The data for connection of a Gempsy price checker terminal can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.

Serial no. entry is required (serial no. of device).
The interface must be type "IP address" and should be stated in format "ip:port" or "ip.port". As this is the server address the IP address can be stated as 0.0.0.0.
Price checker terminals are installed in the store and are used by customers to find the retail price by scanning unpriced goods.

This field contains information on the number of extra line spaces between lines. This is feasible if only 2 lines are to be used but the font selected permits 8 lines. The number of lines shown is therefore dependent on the terminal type, font and line spacing. The number of characters per line is only dependent on the terminal type and the font.
Font 6x8 should be selected for the test device. This allows 20 characters per line to be displayed. The 2 lines normally used for MICROS Retail OSCAR POS require a line spacing value of 6.
