Remarks on program function

The data for connection of a scanner type Passport reader can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed

The TCP/IP no. and the link to a processing unit should be defined and the device-specific operation mode of the scanner set.

This scanner is part of the duty-free system configuration and is used to scan the passports of non-European citizens. Further parametering in the duty-free system is necessary before this device can be operated.

Only select a value higher than "0" for the debug level if a protocol for communication of the terminal is necessary for error analysis. Data is shown in file "errlog" in directory work of the appropriate system unit.

Entry range permitted: numeric, 99999999999999

Enter the IP no. in this field.


Usage

Default = 0

Enter a number to identify the terminal.

Low quality

Button activated: The pictures are stored in a high resolution format.
Button deactivated: The pictures are stored in low resolution format.


Colored

Button activated: The pictures are stored in colour
Button deactivated: The pictures are stored monochrome.
