The program description deals with the following:
A device of type IMC card reader can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information. The interface and link to a processing unit should be defined and the device-specific operating type set.
One magnetic card reader can be connected to each bus connection of interface board IMC 70. The reader is connected up to the last device, normally the keyboard. As only 2 bus connections are available on interface board IMC 70 only a maximum of 2 magnetic card readers can be connected up, i.e. one device per bus.
Note:
Operation of IMC devices assumes that
interface board IMC 70 is installed for connection of these devices.
Documentation IMC 70 provides more information on installation and configuration of the IMC 70 interface board.
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.
