The program description deals with the following:
The data for an MF printer can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which already exists can also be displayed for information.
The interface and link to a processing unit should be defined and the device-specific operation mode of the printer set.
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.
As with nearly all other programs the following also applies here:
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 99
Enter a valid poll address in this field if this printer operates in LSV mode.
Please note the hardware setting of the connected printer.
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 4
Enter how many drawers are/can be connected to this printer.
Default = 8
The number of lines the receipt is to advance after the last printed line and before it is cut off is defined in this field.
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 2
Enter the number of customer displays which can be/is connected to this printer (max. two one-line customer displays can be connected).

Only select a value higher than "0" for
the debug level if a protocol for the communications of the printer is required
for error analysis. The details are shown in file "errlog" in
directory work of
the appropriate system unit.

Switch deactivated: This printer operates in XON/XOFF mode
Please note that the printer has to be connected with the V.24 interface for the XON/XOFF mode and with the V.11 interface for LSV mode.
