The program description deals with the following:
The data for connection of a payment terminal, type Miditec, can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information.
The interface and link to a processing unit should be defined and the device-specific operation mode of the EFT terminal set.
Payment terminals are required for payments by magnetic card. Additional parametering is necessary to operate these devices, e.g. the appropriate Payment type with link of the permitted Credit card, etc.
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.

Only select a value higher than "0" for
the debug level if a protocol of the communication of the payment terminal is
required for error analysis. The details are shown in file "errlog"
in directory work
of the appropriate system unit.

Enter the POS no. of the linked POS in this field. This no. is printed on the receipt.

Enter the no. of the terminal in this field. The value entered here should correspond to the value entered in the appropriate payment type, i.e. the payment terminal whose no. is entered in the payment type program will be selected.
