The program description is divided up as follows:

Remarks on program function

The data for connection of a payment terminal type Steria can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.

The interface and link to a processing unit must be defined and the device-specific operating mode of the EFT terminal must be set.

Please note:
Payment terminal devices are required for transactions with magnetic cards. Further parametering is necessary to operate this device, i.e. an appropriate Payment mode with a link to an approved Credit card, etc.

Debug

Only select a value higher than "0" for the debug level if a protocol is required for the communication of the device to analyse an error.


Usage

Default = 1

Enter the number of the terminal. The value entered here must match the value entered for the appropriate payment type, i.e. the terminal which has been entered in program Payment type will be selected.

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 20 pos.

 

 


Protocol

If the TCP/IP protocol is choosen, the IP address and the port number
are to be entered in the appropriate fields.


Print widht

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the value for the print widht of th ereceipt in this field (default = 10).


IP-Address

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 15 pos.

Enter the IP address in this field if protocol "IP" was choosen.


IP Port

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the port number in this field if protocol "IP" was choosen (Voreinstellung = 9500).

Log Level
