(Head / Foot Text Groups)
The following program
description deals with:
By use of this program you
can maintain the data for the head/ foot text groups, i.e. create new data
records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data
for information purposes.
This paragraph will provide
a short overview over the options available for updating these basic data
Just like in almost any
other program:
- The input mask may be different in your
MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases
some data fields may be missing.
- Some input
fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these
cannot be updated.
- The input mask
contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are
optional.
- If the data
record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the dialog window by clicking on the
appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
- The same
procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
- In some cases
you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the
default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>.
Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated
switches are lighter-colored.
Permitted input range:
numeric 1 - 9999
Enter the
position no. under which this text is to be stored.
Permitted input range:
alphanumeric, max. 80 chars
Enter the
text which is to be printed as head or foot text on the receipt. The address
data stored in the system can also be used by selecting a preset text in field
"Print". The texts match the
Address data of the linked branch.
Field with firmly
defined selection options
A text from
the address data of the linked branch
can be selected in this field.
The
following text groups are available:
- Name = Name from the field Name
in program Branch -> Address
- Address 1 = Address line 1 from
the field in program Branch -> Address
- Address 2 = Address line 2 from
the field in program Branch -> Address
- Address 3 = Address line 3 from
the field in program Branch -> Address
- Phone = Telephone no. from the
field in program Branch -> Address
- Fax = Fax no. from the field in
program Branch -> Address
- Legal name 1 = from the field
in update program Branch -> Address with
the same name
- Legal name 2 = from the field
in the update program Branch -> Address
with the same name
- Free text 1= from the field in
update program Branch -> Address with the
same name
- Free text 2 = from the field in
update program Branch -> Address with the
same name
Switch active: The data from the text field or the text
groups will be in bold print on the receipt.
Switch deactivated: The data from the text field or the text groups will
be printed normally on the receipt.
Button
activated: The data
from the text field or the text group is temporarily
not printed on the receipt
Button deactivated: The data from the text field or the text group is
printed on the receipt.
