The following program description deals with the following:
This program allows for address data update, i.e. programming, changing or clearing. The stored data can be called up for information.
Prompts appear in the windows asking for entry of addresses or numbers, e.g. in the Ordering department Orders, supplies, invoice print, etc.). Addresses refer, amongst other things to companies, branches and suppliers.
NOTE:

As is the case with nearly all other programs the following applies here:
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999
The number of the company whose address is to be updated is entered in this field. The name of the company appears on the right-hand side.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with the search.
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999999
Every address must be programmed in the system under a clearly identifiable number.
The number can always be selected as required, but it should be either a consecutive no. or as defined by the organisation of your company.
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
A maximum of 32 characters can be used here for the description during new programming.

An address can be searched for with the character sequence entered here.
Example:
For example, search code "Be" is entered as a link to addresses in
Berlin. All addresses to which this search code is linked can then be called
up.
