Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program you can process the individual positions of a price change list, i.e., insert new positions, change or delete the existing ones. You can display the data on the screen for enquiry only.

Price changes can be made to existing items or price changes can be completed for new items.

The procedure for price changes for new items is as follows:

Value price changes:

A value can be entered in fields #, #1 to #5 if the price is to be increased by an amount.

The fields are interpreted as follows:

# = Value price change standard price
#1 = Value price change special price 1
#2 = Value price change special price 2
#3 = Value price change special price 3
#4 = Value price change special price 4
#5 = Value price change special price 5

First enter the values in the fields and then select the items whose prices are to be changed.

The original prices prior to the change are shown in fields Pr. .

Percentage price changes

A value can be entered in fields %, %1 to %5 if the current item price is to be increased by a percent value.

The fields are interpreted as follows:

% = Percent price change standard price
%1 = Percent price change special price 1
%2 = Percent price change special price 2
%3 = Percent price change special price 3
%4 = Percent price change special price 4
%5 = Percent price change special price 5

First enter the values in the fields and then select the items whose prices are to be changed.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

Just like in almost any other program:

The Input Mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the Dialog Window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.

Enter the item number. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search Function.
