Shop Transfer Protocol Positions
The
following program description deals with:
By
use of this program you can view positions (details) of the transfer protocols
stored in the system. The details, i.e. the individual Positions of the related transfer protocol are
displayed in the bottom part of this update program. Which data is to be stored
in the system for the transfer protocol depends on the setting of the parameter
"Protocol Type" in the
additional data of the update program Shop Property.
All
changes to the shop properties and internet customers made in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS
program have to be transferred to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop. In the same way,
the orders entered in the internet shop have to be transferred to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS
application to be processed there.
The
transfer of the data from and to the internet shop is carried out by use of the
following buttons:
- Update Shop = The changes to the shop properties are transferred to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS
internet shop by a click on the button Shop
Update in the update program Shop
Property.
- Update MICROS Retail OSCAR POS = The customer orders from the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop are
transferred to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application by a click on the button Customer/Orders from Shop in the
update program Shop Property.
- Create Shop = Via the button Create new
Shop Database in the update program Shop
Property, all data are transferred from the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application to
the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop. An existing shop database will be completely
deleted before the new creation.
This
paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating
these Basic Data.
Just
like in almost any other program:
- The Input Mask may
be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the
application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
- Some input fields may contain default values or
defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
- The input mask contains some fields that require
an entry and others in which entries are optional.
- If the data record is updated via multi-page
input masks, go to the Dialog Window by
clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
- The same procedure applies to call up another
update program from this program.
- In some cases you may find that so-called
"Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated
or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified
by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Displays
the sequential position number for every object of this data transfer.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 20 chars.
Displays
the name of the object, e.g. item, customer, item price etc.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
Displays
the number of the object (e.g. object name = item no. = 90).
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
Name
of the object as stored in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS database.
Displays
the state of this position.
The
following statuses are possible:
- 0 = An error occurred during the data transfer
from or to the shop. Details on this error
are stored in the file errlog
or errlog.login.
- 1 = The data transfer from or to the shop has
been successful.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99
Displays
the number of the event.
The
following event numbers can be displayed:
- 0 = inserted
- 1 = updated
- 2 = deleted
- 3 = found in log file
- 4 = table content deleted
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
Displays
the name of the event.
The
following event names can be displayed:
- inserted = 0
- updated = 1
- deleted = 2
- found in log file = 3
- table content deleted = 4
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Date
of the last change.
Permitted input range: HHMMSS (hour, minute, second)
Time
of the last change.
