Profile Organisation
After the configuration of the terminal system, all functions of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application can be accessed. With the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application, you can create a profile for every Operator and every Terminal Type. Via the establishment of profiles, you define thee access authority to the update programs, Update Program Groups and Terminal Functions.
While in the profile for terminal types only the access to terminal functions is defined, you additionally control the access to update program groups or single Update Programs in the operator profiles.
Attention:
Access restrictions concerning the terminal
functions in the terminal type profile always have priority over access
restrictions in the operator profile.
