Manage Sell Limits - How to set a Sell Limit by Flat or Percentage value

To create a Sell Limit, simply type the desired limit into the field on the appropriate date.

If you’d rather set range of dates, or a percentage value, choose “Set Limit Range”.

Choose whether this range should apply to the entire House, or to specific Room Types.

Enter the desired date range,

And whether you want to set a flat amount, or a percentage of the physical rooms.

Click “Ok” to close the range setup screen,

And Click “Apply Changes” to save your new Sell Limit values.

Manage Sell Limits - How to set a Sell Limit by Number of Rooms

To directly enter your available room counts, and have Opera calculate the Sell Limit values, go to “View Options” and choose to modify “Rooms To Sell”.

You can make this change on the House level or the Room Type level.

Then find the date you want to modify and update the Rooms To Sell value. Opera will automatically set the corresponding Sell Limit.

You can make multiple changes on both the House And Room Type level and across multiple dates.

Click “Apply Changes” to save the new values.

Manage Restrictions - How to Create a Restriction

To create a restriction, right click on the desired date and choose “Create Restriction”.

Select the Dates,
Type of Restriction,
And to what it applies.

You can choose one or multiple criteria to set the desired restriction.

Here, we’ve chosen to Close Room Type “STDK” for all rates in the Rate Category “RACK” for one day.

Click “Ok” to apply;

The restriction is automatically updated on the calendar.

Instead of using “Right-Click”, you can also set restrictions using the “Actions” menu.

Rooms Availability - How to Access Sell Limits from Rooms Availability

You can view Sell Limits from the Rooms Availability screen by accessing “View Options”, and adding “Sell Limits” by choosing the corresponding box, and then click “Ok”.

To set to a Sell Limits, click on the value you wish to change.

The “Set Sell Limits” screen will appear, and will default based on where you clicked.

You can set your desired Sell Limit for that date, or for a different date, Room Type, or Room Class.
