This section describes the functions in the various specialized libraries, including name-value pair (libnvpair), pluggable authentication module (libpam), open printing API (libpapi), perl (libperl), PICL (libpicl), PICL plug-in (libpicltree), pool configuration manipulation (libpool), process control (libproc), project database access (libproject), remote shared memory (librsm), and realtime (librt). Readers of this section should be familiar with C programming language constructs.
